At the Beginning

Wow, so much have happened and I haven’t been diligent to update the happenings in my life……I’ve been preparing for one of the most, or should I say the most important day of my life, to say the least, I’m happily married now to the most wonderful lady I’ve ever met.

I’m glad that throughout this wedding preparation, we’ve never seriously argued. Differences in opinions, impatience are inevitable. We had a few, more of moments of anxiousness, but God has been great.

The dusts have settled now, and we are back in our cosy home in Yishun. I’m enjoying every moment at home with Ole, cherishing the every moment of 8 years of courtship and relishing the challenges we face ahead as newly weds and husband and wife……..

Thank God for giving us strength and wisdom to get through the many obstacles and seemingly impossible tasks and for providing us with friends to help out in the wedding (especially our family, bridal party members and DG members). They have helped us a great lot. This might sound a little cliché, but we couldn’t have such a successful wedding without their help. Daniel, Jian Ping, Kok Sing, Prabs and Zhenqian, thanks for going through those embarrassing moments with me. Farah, Liyi, Sherry, Teresa and Yuling, thanks for taking good care of Ole and all the little details to make things right. Daniel, thanks for taking care of the church event, Jian Ping for taking care of the itineraries, photo taking and my hairdo, Kok Sing – you did a great job emceeing, and for taking care of the accompanying car, Prabs, for taking care of the banquet stuffs, Zhenqian, for driving the whole day and the photo taking during the banquet. Farah, thanks for taking care of the gifts, wedding bands, Teresa, Sherry and Liyi for the wonderful voices, and Liyi for emceeing and Yuling for the corsages and receptions. Joe Heng, thanks for emceeing and Jodie for being our flower girl, Erik, Thomas and Rudy for the music and David L. for the sound. Thanks to Hanniel and Chor Yin for helping out and finally Rev. Boon Yong for marrying us. We’re also blessed with great photographers and videographers and chauffeur.
