Well, is Captain Hook a pirate? I'm not sure. Maybe. He may be a well known pirate, but many people are pirates too......the music, movies and games pirates. Just what make the people resort to this 'cheapskate' (a.k.a. cheap?) way to entertain themselves? Why just blame the pirates and the the people who produce the pirated stuffs? Who are the ones who created such a niche in the market? Well, it is just the sofware makers etc that are to be blamed. If, if they could just lower the price of games or movies to just 5 bucks (probably the same price as the pirated stuffs), who wouldn't buy. The point here is not the nominal value, but consumers are just like little businessmen finding value for money. Why pay excessivelyt to buy a movie DVD that is only available long after screening? Sometimes, pirated stuff are even faster than the cinemas. Of course cinematic experience is worthwhile, but you can't buy cinema tickets all the time can you? Games...I don't know how to put it, sometimes you would not one to pay so much just to TRY the game (for those who don't bother to download demos)...whatever. Don't really matter to me.
